The Hong Kong Respiratory Nursing College (HKRNC) was established on 8 December, 2012

Vision
HKRNC will collaborate with other health care practitioners to promote the improvement of respiratory care for Hong Kong

citizens.

Mission

To act as a unified voice of the Respiratory nurses dedicated to providing nursing care of optimal professional standards
To encourage communication among nurses and other organizations caring for patients with respiratory problem and their families
To promote a positive image of respiratory nursing and its influence on the care of patients with respiratory problem and their families

Aims & Objectives

To promote interest and professional growth of respiratory nurses.
To promote, foster, develop and assist medical and allied professions in the study of and acquisition, dissemination and application of knowledge and information concerning respiratory care service and other related medical care service
To furtherance of the objects of the college to encourage, stimulate and aid research in respiratory care services and other related medical care service.
To define and promote the standards of respiratory nursing practice and its specialties
To work in collaboration among nursing and healthcare practitioners
To promote ethical conduct in the practice on respiratory care services
To provide education to the respiratory nurses to promote professional and educational advancement in caring for the sick and in giving better service to the community
